Great Souls

From Serena:
There are many great souls who have incarnated for these times. Their work is arduous and for the most part unsupported by the mainstream. There is a saying a Christ has no place to lay his/her head. These are those times.

What drives a bodhisattva? Is it the need for recognition, the desire for acceptance and approval, money, power?  What is the motivating force behind all that they say and do?  It is love and dedication to the awakening and healing of humanity and the Earth.

Many have no reference points to truly understand people of this
nature. All they can see is what they know, their own motives and
desires and they often project them rather than transcending them The greed, selfishness, competition and desire for power all surface in the presence of higher consciousness. The ego is threatened and jealousy ensues often followed by the need to tear down the mirror rather than rise to the occasion.

The Pharisees were threatened by Jesus.  Hence,  the crucifixion.  This is one reason why
John 14: 6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If a bodhisatva is to full his/her mission, he must be willing to die for his friends, as Christ was willing to die for all of us.

A bodhisatva is a peacemaker, a truth teller, and an advocate for life.  In all these ways, a bodhisatva is following Jesus.   When he/she accepts the name and teachings of Jesus, the person is empowered to make peace, inwardly and in the world.  One's power to make peace is joined with that of the Prince of Peace.
