Dear Friends,

 

What is needed now is peaceful cooperation among nations to solve the pressing problems of global warming, nuclear pollution, AIDS, and so many others.  Instead, we have a global superpower armed to the teeth, driving a worldwide arms race, and refusing to acknowledge global warming or pollution from uranium weaponry, let alone work on it.

 

Peacemakers are desperately needed.  We are called children of God, as Christ was called the Son of God.  This means we are His coequals, and also that we must imitate Him.  Nonviolence is our way, words of truth are our weapons.  We must be faithful unto death, even death on a cross.

 

We have the special blessing of the Prince of Peace, and He will prevail.  His Kingdom will come and His will will be done, here on earth as it is in heaven.  He will bring about peace on earth, through us.
