Questions, by Carol Wolman

My soul yearns and pines
for the courts of the LORD.
My heart and my flesh
cry out for the living God.
Psalm 84: 3

As I gorged on turkey this Thanksgiving Day, I asked some questions, so far unanswered.

Where is the outcry against the massacres being perpetrated by the US in Iraqi cities?  What happened to the peace movement?

Only one Senator needs to join 14 Congresspeople in asking the GAO to investigate allegations of fraud and irregularities.  Once such an investigation is begun, the inauguration cannot take place until it is completed and its results dealt with appropriately.   Will Senators Kerry and Edwards ask the GAO to investigate?

What is happening at the CIA?  All the senior executives of clandestine operations are leaving.  Who will run their networks?  How can we get any intelligence?  And what will these disgruntled victims of the Bush purge do?  Will they get together and save us?

It is reported that Bush et al WANT global warming.  They want the polar ice packs to melt because somehow they'll make more money that way.  It's their planet now, and they'll run it as they wish.

What do we have to be thankful for?

My soul yearns and pines
for the courts of the LORD.
My heart and my flesh
cry out for the living God.
Psalm 84: 3
