Impeachment is peaceful by Carol Wolman

Impeachment is Peaceful by Carol Wolman

Matthew 5: 9  Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Our Constitution vests ultimate authority in "we the people".  We the people have great grievances against the current executives of the government:

1) They have seized power illegally, by way of impeding voter registration, impeding the voting process and corrupting the tallying of votes with Republican- controlled electronic machines that are easily rigged.

2) They failed to prevent 9-11, appear in many ways to have encouraged it and perhaps been complicit, and they have blocked any meaningful investigation.

3) They fabricated evidence, twisted intelligence, and outright lied to our elected Representatives, in order to get backing for an illegal and immoral invasion of Iraq.

4) They have bankrupted our treasury, and besmirched our reputation among the nations.

5) They are systematically looting the commons, the public sector which we pay taxes to maintain, in order to finance their huge military buildup, which benefits their corporations, while it murders, maims and corrupts our youth.

6) They have turned our free press into a propaganda organ for their illegal policies.

Our Constitution gives us the authority and the mechanism to fire our executives and replace them.  In John Conyers, we have a leader who is able and willing to carry out the proper procedures.  He has started with a letter to Bush demanding an explanation for the Downing St. document, which states that "the facts and intelligence were fixed around the policy".

Have you signed it yet?   www.johnconyers.com
Have you joined the citizens' coalition yet?

Become a peacemaker.  Work for impeachment.

In the name of the Prince of Peace,  Carol Wolman
