Staying Awake by Carol Wolman

Staying Awake by Carol Wolman

The message of the Terry Schiavo situation is that central control of information is so far advanced in the US that the president, the Congress and the media all cooperated to keep this case in the headlines for weeks.  Someone is paying Terry's parents to keep it going with another court appeal, even now.

What are they trying to distract us FROM?  What news are we not hearing?  The price of oil going up dramatically?  The inability of the Iraqis to form a government?  The massive turnout of peacewalkers all over the world on the second anniversary of the invasion?  The melting of the polar ice caps?

The books critical of Bush are no longer on prominent display in bookstores.  My webserver offers me entertainment, stock prices, weather- but no news.  It's getting harder and harder to tell what's really going on in the world.  It's getting easier and easier to "get along by going along", tell oneself that maybe Bush isn't so terrible after all.  Thinking about who really engineered the collapse of the World Trade towers makes one feel like a paranoid nut so it's better not to think about it.  We're not going hungry yet, so the huge budget deficit can be ignored.

How do we stay awake in this miasma of misinformation?  Anatomically, the frontal lobe of the brain, which regulates higher consciousness, is situated directly above the upper nasal passages.  Dividing them is the cribriform plate, a bony structure that is pierced with many tiny holes to allow passage of the olfactory nerves, bearing messages to the smell center of the brain.  A small amount of oxygen inhaled through the nose travels along the sheaths of these nerves directly to the frontal lobe, bypassing the bloodstream.

To stay in touch with the truth, hear the name of YAHWEH as you breathe through your nose:

IN= YAH
OUT= WEH

This will directly stimulate your "third eye", your organ of enlightenment, and will dispel the fog of confusion generated by the current rulers.

Psalm 105 3 Glory in His holy name.
